United States representative George Santos — a Republican from a Long Island, New York district — has been under A LOT of fire since he was elected into office.
That now includes a video he posted on Thursday ahead of New York Mets opening day, which got slammed by … everyone on Twitter.
Santos, as you may know, is at the center of a House Ethics Committee investigation due to many accusations of lying about his resume, allegations of sexual misconduct involving a staffer and a report that, per USA TODAY, “he orchestrated a credit card scam” according to a former roommate.
So anytime Santos says or does about anything, Twitter goes after him. Now check out this bizarre video in which he botches the “Let’s go Mets” chant:

Just when you think being a Mets fan couldn't possibly get any more painful, George Santos — aka Derek Jeter's more successful younger brother who invented pine tar and birthed Babe Ruth — comes in with a half-rehearsed "go sports people day!" https://t.co/jwX2mAXjow

The most deplorable thing George Santos has ever done is that out of tune Let’s Go Mets https://t.co/a4yZjqf7wv
