At this point in his young career, George Pickens is developing a reputation for making the incredible seem routine. Of course, the rookie Pittsburgh Steelers playmaker still has a ways to go before he’s a true No. 1 receiver. But now and then, he shows glimpses of rare gifts that could make him a special player in Pittsburgh for years to come.
We saw this again when the Steelers faced the Indianapolis Colts on Monday Night. With Pittsburgh and Kenny Pickett looking to build on an early 6-0 lead, the quarterback turned to his fellow rookie on a first and 10 shot play.
Given Pickett’s growing reputation, we probably shouldn’t have been surprised he’d pull off some straight-up wizardry with another spectacular catch:

With one seemingly impossible play, Pickens almost eclipsed his pregame receiving yards prop with BetMGM and helped the Steelers separate themselves even further (they would score a touchdown on the same possession) from the Colts.
No wonder this young receiver might have quite a bright future in the NFL.
NFL fans were delighted to see Pickens make another awesome catch, but they weren't necessarily surprised
