George Michael Freedom Uncut is an exclusive feature documentary narrated by the singer that focuses on his personal life and career. It will show in cinemas in Liverpool and across the UK for only a week, from today.
Showing unseen archival and private home footage, the documentary is set to give viewers a glimpse into the inside world of the Wham singer, who was known for keeping his personal life private.
The feature documentary, which is being called George’s ‘final work’, was narrated and co-directed by the singer himself ahead of his untimely death in 2016. It will reveal how he became one of the most influential recording artists of all time.

During the documentary, George discusses the devastating death of his first love Anselmo Feleppa. He also recalls the infamous High Court battle with his record label following the success of his best-selling album Listen Without Prejudice Vol. 1.
