George Kittle broke the fourth wall by playing rock, paper, scissors with the TNF broadcast camera

In his seven NFL seasons, George Kittle has developed a reputation for being a wonderfully eccentric personality. He’s simultaneously one of the best tight ends alive and a guy who clearly loves playing the game to the point that he doesn’t take himself so seriously.

We saw another great example of this during the San Francisco 49ers’ matchup with the New York Giants on Thursday Night Football.

As the 49ers tried to cap a scoring drive near the end of the first half, Kittle decided to break the fourth wall. How? He started playing rock, paper, scissors with the TV broadcast camera. It was a perfectly amusing moment from a player who didn’t seem all that stressed out in a tense situation for his team:

Beautiful. My only remaining question is: Who won? Kittle can’t just tease us like that. Oh well. I don’t expect a response. He has a football game to play, after all.

This was how Twitter reacted to Kittle's game of rock, paper, scissors
