Members of the royal family need a strong work ethic and the ability to listen to people from all different walks of life. The Queen and members of her family find themselves at events with people from around the world, constantly surrounded by different languages. So most of The Firm do their best to learn different languages, with Prince William being able to speak an impressive seven.
He can reportedly hold a conversation in French, German, Welsh, Gaelic, Spanish and can even converse in Swahili - having reportedly taught himself the language during his time at university.
And it's possible that William improved his Spanish skills during his gap-year which he spent in Chile on the Raleigh International scheme building houses and helping communities.
And it would appear that Prince William's three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, are following in their father's footsteps - and it's all thanks to their nanny.

The Cambridge trio will be getting a head start when it comes to learning Spanish as their nanny is a Spanish native.
Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo heralds from the city of Palencia and received her training at the prestigious Norland College in Bath before she started working for the family in 2014.
It was reported that she was teaching the young children Spanish, with the Duchess of Cambridge proudly telling well-wishers at a farm visit in 2017 that Prince George (then three) could already count to ten in the language.
But Prince William and his three children aren’t the only royals with some enviable language abilities. The Queen is very skilled at French, having learnt it at a young age, whereas her late husband Prince Philip was fluent in German as he went to primary school in Baden-Württemberg.
Other royals who are able to speak different languages include the Prince of Wales and the Princess Royal.
Prince Charles and Princess Anne are both talented French speakers but the heir to the throne is also reportedly able to add Welsh, German, Gaelic and Arabic to his arsenal.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's nanny trained at the famous Norland College which is widely considered to be one of the best institutions in the world as it lands their graduates in hugely successful and highly paid jobs working for everyone from celebrities to the royals.
In order to be accepted onto the £15,000- a year course you must have at least three Cs at A-Level and be able to show a passion and commitment for caring for young children. While that sounds easy enough, the college only welcomes around 100 pupils a year.
The subjects that are taught at the school have previously been described as a mix between 'Mary Poppins and James Bond' as students will learn everything from self defence, martial arts and getaway driving.
According to FEMAIL, newly qualified nannies can earn up to £42,000 for a non-residential role while some earn up to £120,000 after a few years' experience. This attractive salary also includes the benefits of designer handbags, trips abroad and luxurious living quarters.
