Geordie star Charlotte Crosby is pregnant with her first child saying she 'couldn't be happier'

Geordie Shore star Charlotte Crosby is pregnant with her first child with boyfriend Jake Ankers. The 31-year-old announced the sweet news on Instagram and said she "couldn't be happier".

Charlotte from Sunderland also shared a heartwarming video as they told their relatives. She wrote on Instagram: "A moment I wasn’t sure would ever be mine Is here, it’s mine (and Jake's) and I couldn’t be happier to be sharing it with you all... I'm having a baby."

An emotional video montage shows a pregnancy test revealing that Charlotte is pregnant, leading to her cuddling and kissing boyfriend Jake, the Mirror reports. Charlotte is then seen attending a scan as she gushes: "Aw, it has a tiny little heartbeat."

The pair then break the news to family and friends, with Charlotte's mum breaking down in tears as she says: "Oh my god!"

As they sit down with the family after revealing the baby news, her mum says: "And, like, you just know when you know, don't you? That it's the right person... when we were away this weekend we were talking [and saying], 'It's just so nice that Charlotte's happy and she's settled and we know this is probably going to be the right one."

Her dad adds: "I've never known her so happy, Jake."

Friends and fans flocked to congratulate the star, with Scarlett Moffatt gushing: "Congratulations beautiful." While TOWIE's Amber Dowding wrote: "Oh I’m so happy for you! Congratulations." Lateysha Grace commented: "Ohhh my god !!!! Charlotte I’m so f**ing happy for you ! I could cry !!!!"

Another pal wrote: "Ahhhhh. Well here we are my beautiful best friend everything you ever wished for coming true! Years of chats with you about this moment and I'm sooo happy. You are going to be the best mumma and I can’t wait to be there every step of the way (well except from the actual birth because that’s a step too far) I love you sooooo much and so proud of everything you’ve become! You deserve this! Congratulations to you and Jake."

The happy news comes six years after Charlotte suffered a devastating ectopic pregnancy, which she admitted that she could have died from.

Charlotte suffered through the ectopic pregnancy – which occurs when a fetus begins to develop outside of the womb – after her split from co-star and on-off boyfriend Gary Beadle.
