It’s rather hard to believe that eleven years have now passed since Geordie Shore launched and immediately caused a stir and, now it has been confirmed that some of the show's biggest names are coming together for a reunion series.
North East politicians blasted the MTV show, famous for its drinking, partying and bed-hopping, for painting a dreadful picture of life in Newcastle, while viewers lapped up the antics of the original cast members who first made their mark by posing in a hot tub next to the Baltic for the series one press call.
Since first opening its doors in the spring of 2011, the Geordie Shore house, which has changed from being a plush terrace house in Jesmond to a converted warehouse near Walker, has welcomed hordes of self-confessed party animals, some making more of an impact than others.
As Geordie Shore gets set to turn the clock back with a reunion series that will include a group holiday, long awaited wedding and a return to its famous party house, we look at what former cast members have been up to since leaving the show and what current cast members have done outside of the show.
Vicky Pattison
As well as winning I’m A Celebrity at the end of 2015, Vicky has had a number of successful endorsements, number one books, a chart-topping fitness DVD, appearances on fellow MTV show Ex on the Beach, her own nutrition, fashion and jewellery ranges, hit solo show Judge Geordie, Loose Women and I'm A Celeb spin off Extra Camp.
And in 2016 it was revealed that the Wallsend lass was a millionaire. Vicky's split from cheating fiancé John Noble was documented on screen in her own TV show The Break Up, while she has also been a real star in both Celebrity Masterchef and Celebrity Coach Trip.
Her successful podcast The Secret Toi spawned it's own best-selling book and, romance wise, Vicky is now loved up with Essex businessman Ercan Ramadan, with the pair moving into a stunning new house down south last year and then Ercan popping the question to Vicky while they were on holiday in Dubai.
Charlotte Crosby
The Sunderland lass first branched out from her MTV roots in 2013 when she won Celebrity Big Brother which then led to her getting her own TLC show The Charlotte Crosby Experience.
Like Vicky, Charlotte has also tasted great success in both the realms of books and fashion with number one autobiographies Me, Me, Me and Brand New Me and clothing range for In the Style.
She is also a record breaking fitness guru with her first exercise DVD 3 Minute Belly Blitz becoming the UK’s fastest selling ever at the turn of 2015 and 3 Minute Bum Blitz following suit by also topping the charts.
She has had three series of hit programme The Charlotte Show, alongside now ex boyfriend Josh Ritchie and moved to Bolton to be with him. Charlotte is now back on home turf, living in her first of two mansions on the outskirts of Sunderland.
Charlotte, who also has interior business Naked Lane under her belt now, was back in the Geordie Shore fold for 10th birthday special Ten Years on the Toon last year, alongside Chloe Ferry, James Tindale and Nathan Henry and, in April 2022, announced that she is expecting a baby with new boyfriend Jake Ankers.
She is back on Geordie Shore for the reunion, saying: “I always said I would be up for taking part in a reunion show and made no secret that Geordie Shore holds a special place in my heart. I’m very excited to reconnect and reminisce with my favourite people and life-long friends.”
Gaz Beadle
The self-proclaimed lothario became famous for bedding scores of women on Geordie Shore but like his co-stars he has tried his luck at other things.
He’s released autobiography Gaz (And My Parnsip), owned Pure Nightclub in Zante and opened clothing shop Project 722 in intu Metrocentre in 2012, although it’s been closed for a number of years now. He made the news in 2017 after being turned away from New Zealand after failing to meet necessary visa requirements.
Gaz had a successful clothing range with Scott and Aaron and starred in a run of Hell's Kitchen over in Australia where Geordie Shore is hugely popular .He also starred MTV show Spring Break With Grandad, alongside his grandad Ray.
He is engaged to model Emma McVeigh, with the couple living in Yorkshire with their two children - Chester and Primrose. Gaz, now said to be worth over £4million, with him building his fortune in property development, was one of the stars of Geordie OGs but walked away from the show last year to concentrate on family life.
Scott Timlin - 'Scotty T'
Better known as Scotty T, the 33 year old won Celebrity Big Brother early in 2016 after going into the house as the red hot favourite with the bookies.
Like Gaz he’s known for being just a bit of a womaniser and like his mate he was also seen on Ex on The Beach, which saw him come face to face with his Newcastle ex-girlfriend Ashleigh Defty.
He appeared in pantomime in Christmas 2016 and even had a cameo in iconic Aussie soap Neighbours that same year before his headline hitting departure and released autobiography A Shore Thing.
He returned to screens in a recent series of MTV's Just Tattoo of Us alongside Charlotte and has appeared on Geordie Shore for series 18 as boss Anna's assistant, something he did again in series 19.
In 2019 he starred in another panto - Jack and his Giant Beanstalk - but once again this was surrounded by some controversy over cast contracts and poor reviews from those who saw it, before it was brought to an abrupt end.
He was due to fight Steven Bear in Fame MMA in Newcastle in 2019 but the bout didn't go ahead. Scott joined Charlotte and James for a podcast where the trio reflected on their time on Geordie Shore. A brand ambassador for clothing line Alpha Fitness, Scott now posts content on adult sire Only Fans.
Holly Hagan
In a similar vein to Charlotte and Vicky, Middlesbrough-born Holly hasn’t been content with just starring on the show.
After a shaky start on the show, due to housemates freezing her out for “not being a proper Geordie,” Holly established herself as a firm favourite with her fellow cast members and the viewing public.
She landed at the top of the book charts with aptly titled autobiography Not Quite A Geordie, has appeared on the covers of both FHM and Nuts and had a popular fashion line for online retailers Lasula. She even released a single- a cover of Kelis' Milkshake.
Her departure in 2016 was an emotional one but in a shock turn of events, she returned to the show in 2018 and became a regular on Geordie OGs.
She is now engaged to footballer Jacob Blyth and ambassador of anti-bullying charity Ditch The Label. Last year, Holly revealed the couple had been forced to postpone their dream wedding in Ibiza but vowed to make it even more special when it finally is allowed to happen - could it be the wedding that is being filmed for the Geordie Shore reunion?
Kyle Christie
Kyle revealed just before Christmas 2016 that he’d quit Geordie Shore to spend time with his family.
Kyle did however hint that he would be making a return to TV at some point and did so on two occasions, firstly for Big Birthday Battle and then for the summer series which was filmed abroad.
Kyle appeared on brutal MTV show Just Tattoo of Us alongside Holly, with her getting a huge tattoo of his face on her neck.
Which makes it all the more awkward that the couple have long since called it quits and there was a VERY awkward moment in series 18 when Kyle made a surprise appearance, forcing the two to have a heart to heart.
He is now dating former Miss Newcastle winner Vicky Turner and has appeared on a number of series of MTV show The Challenge.
Last year Vicky and Kyle revealed they were expecting their first child together. Sharing a picture of him and Vicky with their scan photo, Kyle wrote: "Little bit of you & a little bit of me......that’s what it takes to make Family. I promise you kid, you are going to have one hell of life."
Son Crew Jax Christie was born on September 13, 2021, with Kyle writing: "Welcome to the world Crew you are so loved, we couldn’t of asked for a more perfect little boy. Mam & Dad love you so much. They say 13 is unlucky for some but he was always destined to be, judging by my tattoo.
"Thank you to @vickelizabethx for bringing this perfect little man into our lives, you honestly have done an extraordinary job from start to finish. I honestly don’t know how you women do it, you’re all incredible…..my little family."
James Tindale
James appeared on Geordie Shore for 10 series in a row as one of the originals.
The Consett lad was one of the more calming influences in the house but did have the odd scuffle, including a very heated one with Gaz when the show filmed in Australia. While the object of Holly’s affections for quite some time, James found love outside of the house with Kate Thorne .
Qualified personal trainer James has been an ambassador for Muscle Mix, has his own clothing line God’s Gift and launched his own gym - Gym Unique.
James made a brief appearance in series 18 before returning as a full time cast member for series 20. as a single man. Last year he shocked viewers Down Under, where Geordie Shore is huge, by appearing on First Dates Australia.
In 2021 he appeared in a music video for Davie Carr & TLM Band's track Hold The Line and is widely tipped to play a big part in the Geordie Shore reunion.
Ricci Guarnaccio
Vicky’s famous, or perhaps infamous, former fiancé, former hairdresser Ricci came into the show in series 12 as a new housemate.
And while Vicky was in a relationship, the Durham lad definitely caught her eye and she eventually finished her then boyfriend Dan to be with him.
The pair’s romance was fiery from the off so everyone was stunned when Ricci proposed during the Chaos in Cancun series. While Vicky said yes the engagement didn’t last long and Ricci left the show to then go on Celebrity Big Brother.
At the start of 2015 he opened Sunderland nightspot Attico/Verve with ex co-star Jay Gardner but the duo sold the Green Terrace venue just seven weeks after its much hyped opening. He has appeared on Celebrity Dinner Date and hit the headlines in 2020 when pictures of his cosmetic surgery went viral.
Ricci, who also starred in 2017 film Boar, landed a record deal and released Ride With Me, a collaboration with Newcastle producer Josh Goodwill. Featuring the vocals of New Zealand-based singer and former Australian Idol finalist Emily Williams, the track received airplay on Capital. Teasing his plans for the rest of the year over Easter weekend, Ricci wrote: "Feeling real sweet and jacked man. Huge summer of releases and gigs coming then back to Australia in October."
Jay Gardner
Moving onto Ricci’s one-time business partner in greater detail, Jay was part of Geordie Shore from day one.
Initially getting close with Vicky, Jay left the show to be with then girlfriend Chloe before returning and then leaving for good during series 7. Aside from Attico/Verve, away from Geordie Shore Jay launched male fake tanning line Jay’s Tan but its last social media update was years ago.
He returned, much to the delight of his co-stars, for Big Birthday Battle in 2016. The qualified personal trainer, who is also now an online coach, is even more muscle bound these days and returned to MTV to do some filming last year.
Sophie Kasaei
South Shields girl Sophie left Geordie Shore in series 7 after allegedly being recorded making an offensive remark during filming. Since then started up clothing businesses Off The Rails boutique and House of SHB and was also a party planner for Geordie Tours.
She is still firm friends with Charlotte and Holly, returned for Birthday Battle in 2016 and was back as a full time cast member in 2019.
She also returned for series 20, where she was joined by then boyfriend Jay Biggs, before their split. Sophie also appeared on Celebrity Ex on the Beach and in 2020 left fans and celebrity pals green with envy by showing off her new home in South Tyneside. Earlier this year she launched a line of hair extensions specifically for girls with curly hair.
Speaking about the upcoming reunion, Sophie said: "Seeing all the friends that turned into family and had such a big impact on my 20s is going to be emotional but also like nothing has changed, apart from our age and families. It’s a moment I’ve been waiting for."
Marnie Simpson
Sophie’s cousin immediately ruffled feathers in the house when she entered in 2013. Causing friction due to stirring trouble between the lads, Marnie did little to ingratiate herself to her fellow cast members to begin with.
She’s gradually gained their friendship and has had her fair share of headlines outside of the show. She got engaged to former TOWIE star Ricky Rayment on the show, only for the relationship to come to an abrupt end.
She finished fourth on Celebrity Big Brother in 2016 when she met Lewis Bloor, who she was on and off with until she found out he cheated on her while she was in Newcastle filming series 14.
Marnie released autobiography Stripped Bare. And in 2018 she revealed on Twitter that she'd quit the show.
She now has baby son Rox with boyfriend Casey Johnson and the trio live in Bedfordshire. Marnie was the first cast member to appear on spin-off Their Story and is now looking forward to her upcoming wedding, as well as expecting baby number two. She will also play a big part in the reunion, with her commenting: "I’m so excited for this reunion – it’s something me and so many of the other cast members have been waiting for. I’m so intrigued to watch it all play out.
"I have no idea how it’s going to go or what’s going to happen but I’m so ready for it. Bring it on!”
Greg Lake
Greg definitely holds the title as Geordie Shore’s most reserved housemate. Well spoken Greg struggled to fit in with the fake tan, gym obsessed, deep V T-shirt wearing ways off the fellow boys from the off. So it was little surprise he quit the show between filming of spin-off Magaluf Madness and series 2.
Greg went on to star in Irish reality show Celebrity Salon. He has son Daye Colmic with ex girlfriend and Hollyoaks star Jennifer Metcalfe. Over the past six months, Greg has been making a real splash in the hospitality world after opening bar and brasserie Novo in Morpeth, Northumberland., The venue has proven a big hit with famous faces, with ex Jennifer, former co-star Vicky Pattison and Newcastle United star signing Kieran Trippier amongst those who've paid a visit so far.
Rebecca Walker
Like Greg, outspoken Rebecca didn’t last long in the Geordie Shore house. Clashing with Vicky from the word go, Rebecca left the show after just one series.
The former Kenton School pupil has since traded in her jet black locks for a blonde do and has become a mum.
Dan Thomas
Still a regular on Newcastle’s party scene for years after his time in the Geordie Shore house, often found in the likes of Bijoux, Dan has also partied and worked abroad spending summers in both Zante and Magaluf.
He has also been an ambassador for workout company G’rilla Fitness, often posting on Twitter about their Burn Bullet product and was back on Geordie Shore for Big Birthday Battle.
Aaron Chalmers
About to be seen in series 14, Aaron joined the show as Gaz’s mate in 2014 and has enjoyed plenty of ‘will they, won’t they’ style flirting with Marnie.
Known for his abundance of tattoos, Aaron, was on screen a few years ago on Ex on the Beach and did rather well in the world of MMA fighting, with a string of wins under his belt before calling it a day, after a crushing defeat on home turf.
Like Gaz, he is also now a dad after girlfriend Talia Oatway gave birth to son Romeo AJ last year, with her pregnancy documented on Geordie OGs.
Earlier this year, the couple had their second child, with baby Maddox shocking them both by arriving five weeks early.
Last year, Aaron opened up about his battle with anxiety during the first lockdown last year, with him admitting he was drinking heavily to cope. In early 2021, he shared his delight at expecting a third child. This year the now 34-year-old also confirmed he was making the switch from MMA to boxing, with him set to make his debut in Newcastle.
Chloe Ferry
Chloe has been a massive ball of energy since coming into the series in 2015.
Famous for falling over a lot and falling for Scotty T, she’s became a popular character with fans of the show, which made it all the more surprising that her stint in Celebrity Big Brother 2017 was a very brief one, with her being evicted after just a week.
She's become quite the entrepreneur though, tasting great success with lip line By Chloe Ferry, clothing brand Ferry Body and her own range of sunglasses and in 2020 opened her own salon CM House of Aesthetics.
Chloe went out with co-star Sam Gowland, but they split in 2020 following a series of on-screen and off-screen spats. She was back for series 21 and also appeared in Celebs Go Dating: The Mansion.
The 26-year-old, who also runs homeware business Ferry Homely, moved into a stunning £1.1m home on the outskirts of Newcastle and fuelled speculation she was heading to film a Geordie Shore reunion party when new boyfriend Johnny Wilbo snapped her wearing a floor length gown.
Nathan Henry
Walked into the house with Chloe last year and after initially telling them he was bisexual, Nathan had a huge moment at the end of series 11 when he came out as gay to his fellow castmates.
And in 2016 he emulated Kim Kardashian's headline hitting naked selfie. A year later, Nathan launched his own teeth whitening company, Geordie Smile and also has Buddy & Me, his own online clothing and accessory range for dogs, inspired by his own two dogs Buddy & Buster.
in 2020 Nathan attracted lots of positive comments for his body transformation and went into the Geordie Shore house single for series 19 after his split from his long term boyfriend. e appeared on Celebs Go Dating in 2019 and turned 30 with a luxurious lockdown celebration in 2021. He is currently on screen in new series of Celeb Ex on the Beach, where he shares the screen with now ex boyfriend Declan.
Chantelle Connolly
A much talked about cast member from the get-go, Chantelle's time in the house was rather fiery so it was no surprise that her exit was too, when she left the show to return home to her boyfriend.
The two are no longer together and since their split the High Heaton lass was linked with fellow reality star Jem Lucy although things quickly soured, with Chantelle tweeting 'If a dog can win Britains got talent then MAYBE jemma Lucy has a chance of winning @bbuk #dead '
She is now a mother, having given birth in 2020 and now spends most of her time in Marbella. However, given that she tagged herself at a Newcastle make up salon on the night the Geordie Shore reunion was meant to be filmed, she looks a safe bet to be making an unexpected return.
Chantelle also has Instagram account Get Fit With Chantelle with its bio boasting tips on: Exercise & Workout routines, Boxing, Diet ,Recipes, Motivation and Health & Wellness.
Marty McKenna
The Newcastle lad arrived on the show with Chantelle at the end of 2015 after appearing on Ex on the Beach alongside ex Sarah Goodhart, who was one of the newcomers in series 14.
Like Chloe, Marty starred in Ex on The Beach and made a return to Geordie Shore in 2021, much to the surprise of former flame Chloe. Marty recently got into the ring for a fighting event in Newcastle and, bounced back from being defeated by a felloe ex Geordie Shore star Sam Gowland at Fame MMA, by winning his bout. He also looks set to feature in the upcoming reunion series.
Steph Snowdon
Heaton lass Steph, who is friends with co-star Marnie Simpson and former cast members Zahida Allen and Chantelle Connelly, looked very much the part for a night out on her first night on the town with the Geordie Shore, but lasted just one series.
The 25 year old used to work for HMRC dealing with tax credits but more recently worked four seasons as a party rep in Ibiza and is now signed to LSA Models.
Her birthday party in Newcastle was shut down by police in 2018 and in 2020 she revealed she'd been kicked off an Easyjet flight for being too drunk.
Faith Mullen
Faith was a newcomer for series 18, causing a stir thanks to the fact that she is a devout Christian and wouldn't get involved in some of the games and dares that are standard in the Geordie Shore house. But her appearance was a brief one and she only stayed for one series.
Faith is another cast member set for a shock comeback to the show as she too hinted she was heading to the reunion bash, posting the next day that she'd done a 'lot of healing,' at the event. Earlier this year she asked Brit winner Sam Fender on a date via Instagram., after finding herself alone on Valentine's, but he failed yo respond.
Sam Gowland
As well as soundly beating Marty in their Fame MMA fight, Sam, who first shot to TV fame on Love Island, now owns multiple businesses and lists himself on Instagram as a property developer, with him building a series of mansions in Wynyard, the estate famous for being a favourite of Newcastle United players and staff, including his own 'dream home,' which is set to include a spa, cinema room and a nightclub are on the top floor.
Sam has said he's aiming to bring 'Marbella to Teesside,' posting on Instagram: "Proud is an under statement once again but not taking away any of the hard work and sleepless nights that have gone into making my dreams come true."
When he's not developing properties, Sam jet sets across the world, with him regularly heading to the likes of Dubai, Turkey and Thailand, where he spent time with new girlfriend Scarlett Rae.
Abbie Holborn
The Stockton lass 'won' a permanent place in Geordie Shore after battling it out with other newcomers to impress the cast in 2017.
Since then, Abbie has established her as regular on the show and enjoyed a brief fling with Scotty T. in 2020 Abbie lifted the lid on some of Geordie Shore's behind the scenes secrets specifically to do with 'pulling'.
When asked by a fan of Instagram if their was truth in the rumours that members of the public need ID to go to the Geordie Shore house after meeting the cast on a night out. She replied: "YES, well more for the lads to bring lasses back, and if they don’t have their passport on them a member of the crew has to go to their house and pick it up, while we all wait in the mini bus so we can all enter the house together. That’s why we hate when anyone pulls cos it’s soo LONG.”
Abbie has become a real hit on social media and with her celebrity pals thanks to her clothing brand Festigal, which has been worn everywhere from Ibiza to Dubai. She dropped a strong hint she was back on Geordie Shore for reunion filming, when she posted a picture the night after the party was rumoured to have taken place, with the caption: "Some Hollywood Glam last night."
Natalie Phillips
Quitting mid-way through series 21, Natalie, then 30, admitted she felt too old to be in the house.
Before walking out of the house, Nat said: "I'm not sure that getting mortal, necking on and acting single is actually for me. I'm not sure this house is for me," before telling the housemates: "I've had a word with meself; I've woke up today, I feel a lot better, a lot happier but I have decided to leave the house tonight. I know that it's my time to go now." Taking to Instagram after leaving, Natalie wrote: "Direction is so much more important than speed. So many people are going nowhere fast."
Single when she was on Geordie Shore, Natalie is now loved up with Mariella Arigali. Posting a tribute to other half Mariella as they enjoyed a night out in Newcastle, Nat, who was recently nominated for Celebrity of the Year at the National Diversity Awards, wrote: "You make me laugh. You kiss my forehead. You say sorry. You make an effort. You hold my hand. You work hard. You understand me. For all of these reasons, you are more perfect than I could have ever wished for. Lucky to know you. Lucky to love you. Even luckier to be loved by you."
Amelia Lily
The most surprising Geordie Shore cast member in the show's history, former X Factor finalist Amelia joined the show in 2020.
Before she'd even appeared on screen, their were rumours that Amelia, who has starred in hit musicals Shrek and American Idiot, had clashed with co-star on a night out in Newcastle.
Last year it was revealed that Amelia had joined S Club in another shock career move and she signed up for the second series of Celebrity Karaoke Club. Another star tipped to be on the Geordie Shore reunion series, Amelia fuelled speculation she was involved after dressing up in a stunning dress and tagging the same hair and makeup artists as Abbie.
Bethan Kershaw
Bethan already had reality TV experience when she joined the Geordie Shore cast, having been on ITV2's Ibiza Weekender. A close friend of Chloe's, she made her debut on Geordie Shore in 2020 and has been involved in a number of heated scenes, largely involving on/off love interest Beau Brennan, one of which saw her storm away from filming.
Like many of her other co-stars, Bethan was dressed to the nines on the night that reunion party was said to have happened, looking absolutely stunning in her Instagram pics from the evening. Away from the show, Bethan has been very candid about her mental health issues, has been praised for uploading unfiltered photos to social media and has her own cosmetics line By Bethan.
