Marnie Simpson has announced she has given birth to her second child.

The former Geordie Shore star confirmed on Instagram on Wednesday that she and fiancé Casey Johnson have welcomed a baby boy.

The 30-year-old uploaded an adorable black and white photo showing her newborn son holding her finger.

She captioned the snap: "Baby boy has arrived safe and sound. We’re completely in awe, our family is complete."

The reality TV personality’s friends were quick to offer their congratulations in the comments section.

“Omg Marnie,” wrote pregnant ex Lover Islander Olivia Bowen, leading the well wishes. “So happy for you all sending soooo much love congratulations xxxxxx.”

“So happy for you all, congratulations,” said Hollyoaks actress Chelsee Healey.

Sophie Kasaei added: “I love him already our beautiful boy.”

Simpson’s fiancé also commented on the picture, writing: "Love my little family so much.”

The message included three red heart emojis.

The new addition is a little brother to Simpson and Johnson’s first-born son Rox, two.

Taking to Instagram Stories, the proud new mum-of-two expanded on her original announcement post.

She wrote: "I can’t even explain how obsessed we are with him. He is just perfect.

"What a different experience that was compared to the birth of Rox, which I’m very grateful for. I can’t wait to show him to you all but I feel like me and Casey have chosen to just wait a little bit because we just want to enjoy him ourselves for a little while.

"So sending all the love in the world and yeah!"

In his own post, Johnson said of becoming a dad again: "[It’s] amazing. Just staring at him now and I love him so much."

The Consett-born star first announced she was pregnant again last November.

She previously admitted she was “nervous” over the birth of her second child after she was diagnosed with a chronic UTI in 2016.

Her symptoms worsened following Rox’s birth in 2019.
