Geordie Shore star Holly Hagan-Blythe reveals her due date is the same as anniversary with hubby Jacob

Holly Hagan-Blythe has revealed that her pregnancy due date has landed on the exact same day as her anniversary with husband Jacob.

The former Geordie Shore star this week broke the internet by announcing that she was expecting her first child in 2023, taking to OK! Magazine's Instagram account to drop the bombshell.

The video began with the pair reading excerpts of their wedding vows, before Holly presented Jacob with a shoe box. Inside which, lay a positive pregnancy test.

Now, speaking to OK! Magazine, Holly, 18 weeks pregnant, broke the news that her firstborn's expected arrival date falling on June 6, 2023 - the same date that Jacob popped the big question to his lover. Holly, said: "“We’re due on the exact date of our wedding anniversary," while Jacob, 30, added: “It’s the same week we first met, which will be six years ago, and the exact date I proposed three years later."

While their pregnancy news reads like a fairy tale, Holly, also 30, admits the reality behind the scenes was somewhat less romantic. The couple, who met on the White Isle in 2017 and live just outside Manchester, started trying for a baby on their honeymoon.

But without any joy three months in, Holly changed tact and put their sex life on schedule.

Holly, continued: “Since the wedding, I’ve been tracking my ovulation and taking supplements because I can suffer from irregular periods sometimes, usually if I’m stressed. The month I fell pregnant was the month we really tried.

"We used a method called the ‘sperm meets egg’. They call it the Baby Dance Schedule!

"From the eighth day of your cycle you’re supposed to have sex every other day. Then once you have a positive ovulation test you have sex every day for three days, then you skip a day and have sex again.

"It’s not the most romantic but it worked. We didn’t leave much room for error. It wasn’t some fairy tale!”

Holly found out the method had been successful in September while Liverpool fan Jacob was away for a friend’s birthday. Instead of telling him on his return the next morning, she waited three agonising days to reveal it in the sweetest way.

“I found out seven days before my missed period – it was scarily early,” she said.

“My friends were around and we were supposed to be drinking so I thought I’d better take a test just in case. I saw a very faint line, so I just had one glass of Champagne and faked it for the rest of the night.

"I took another test the next morning and it came up as ‘pregnant’. As Jacob was away, I decided to order a baby Liverpool FC kit with ‘Baby B 23’ on the back to tell him.

"I wanted it to be so special as you only have your first baby once. It took three days to arrive. They were the longest three days of my entire existence!”
