Geordie Shore's Nathan Henry just misses out on final of Australian version of I'm A Celebrity

Nathan Henry has just missed out on the final of I'm a Celebrity, with the Geordie Shore star taking part in the Australian version of the show, just as the new series launched on ITV.

Following in the footsteps of Charlotte Crosby., who featured in the Aussie show back at the start of 2020, Nathan who joined Geordie Shore alongside Chloe Ferry in 2015, travelled to South Africa to join a host of famous faces from the Australian showbiz circuit, after announcing to his many followers on Instagram that he'd signed up.

Geordie Shore is MTV's biggest ever show in the UK and, as well as having mass appeal on home turf, the show quickly caught up on in a big way Down Under, with many cast members making the long journey to Australia on numerous occasions to meet fans at club and bars in the country.

And Nathan clearly proved very popular with TV viewers over there as he very nearly made it all the way to the final of I'm A Celebrity, which has been airing on Network 10 for the last few weeks. Nathan's family and friends have been keeping fans back in the UK abreast of Nathan's antics in South Africa, with regular posts on his Instagram, as he's absolutely smashed the trials thrown at him.

Sadly for Nathan, a semi final double elimination proved to be his undoing, as he was given his marching orders alongside football Adam Cooney, having finished in fourth.

With a 10 hour difference between the UK and Australia, Nathan's exit was confirmed on Twitter early afternoon UK time,. Nathan's management team shared a post on his Instagram, paying tribute to his efforts bon I'm A Celebrity after his departure, writing: "Our boy Nathan has left the @imacelebrityau jungle in 4th place! We are so proud! He is the joint highest placed Brit to ever enter the Australian show! WE ARE SO PROUD!"

Nathan's Geordie SHore co-stars were quickly to hap praise on him, with Charlotte replying: "Well done Nathan! a very tough show to do and you absolutely smashed it," and Chloe reacting: "Well done your still a winner in our eyes"
