Geordie Shore's Marnie Simpson locked herself in room as ghosts terrorised family home

Marine Simpson was left so scared after her house was haunted by scary ghouls that she locked herself in one of the rooms and was too afraid to open the door.

The Geordie Shore star, 31, has recalled the horrific ordeal which saw her call in paranormal experts, but the visit led to her to be more concerned.

Mum-of-two Marnie resides in Bedfordshire with her boyfriend, Casey Johnson, who found fame as one-eighth of The X Factor band, Stereo Kicks.

But while she may live in her dream home, the reality star was left spooked after spotting floating orbs on the baby monitors, leaving her scared to get up and do the night feeds for her two children.

Speaking to new! magazine, the star said: "Even if the presence isn't angry, it's still scary. Anything supernatural scares me.

"I'd normally stay in one room and shut the door, scared to go out of the room. I felt like a prisoner in my own home," before adding that Casey was "freaked out" by the goings-on.

Marnie later called in ghostly experts Barri Ghai, Ian Lawman and Jayne Harris from Celebrity Help! My House Is Haunted to help rid her home of any unwanted spirits.

But the star later added that her home was one of the spookiest the experts had ever been to.

"The recordings and the pictures they found were very scary, it was pretty daunting," she said before continuing: "To see them freaked out was an eye opener - at times they were scared and that's when I knew s**t was real."

But since having experts visit her home, Marnie says that things are getting better and her house now feels different.

Following her ordeal, she admits that she's no longer scared of dying as she knows that people "definitely go somewhere".

The creepy news comes days after it was revealed Marnie and Casey will finally tie the knot in a lavish ceremony after being forced to cancel their original date.

Marnie and Casey had planned to marry in August 2021 but their plans were halted as she admitted to finding becoming a mum a "struggle".

A source claims that the reality star has already locked in the location of their nuptials after falling in love with the venue with a spring date in mind.

In 2021, she said: "I've got no intention of getting married anytime soon, I've got enough stress on my plate."
