Geordie Shore's Gaz Beadle reunion snub confirmed as co-stars question decision

After speculation that he did reject the offer to attend, it’s now official that Gaz Beadle did snub the Geordie Shore reunion, with several of his former co-stars questioning his decision

Gaz was one of the most talked about cast members on the MTV show in it’s hey-day, having been one of its original stars when it launched back in 2011. During his time on the show, Gaz was at the heart of the action, not least because of his on and off relationship with Charlotte Crosby. The two, who we’re famously described as “Romeo and Juliet…if Romeo was a t**t,” by co-star Vicky Pattison, had millions of fans rooting for them and their relationship from the get-go, but things never ran smoothly.

And. after having an ectopic pregnancy in 2016 while carrying Gaz’s baby, while he was filming Ex on the Beach, Charlotte quit Geordie Shore and hit out at him on social media. However, six years later it was actually ex Charlotte who reached out to Gaz via text message to invite him to the reunion party in Newcastle.

The event was filmed back in the spring but, while there were a number of shock returns, including Greg Lake, Chantelle Connelly and Kyle Christie, Gaz didn’t turn up. At one point during Tuesday night’s episode, it did look like dad-of-two Gaz might have made a dramatic late arrival, just as Charlotte was announcing her pregnancy with boyfriend Jake Ankers’ child, to the group, but the latecomer turned out to be Holly Hagan’s now husband, footballer Jacob Blyth.

As left the party at Boiler Shop in the city centre, Charlotte said it was a shame that Gaz wasn’t there to “share the celebration,” as other stars like Scotty T, Chloe Ferry and James Tindale all rushed to congratulate her.

Another one of Gaz's former co-stars also hit out at Gaz's decision not to attend, remarking: "None of us would be where we are without Geordie Shore," while Scott said he thought enough time had passed for Gaz and Charlotte to be able to be in the same room together.

The reunion party in Newcastle was only the start of filming on Geordie Shore: The Reunion, with production then moving to Portugal for a group holiday and then to Ibiza for Holly’s wedding.
