Geordie Shore's Chloe Ferry supported after heart-breaking Father's Day post

Chloe Ferry received droves of support from her friends and fans after admitting she was struggling on her first Father's Day without her dad.

Geordie Shore favourite and business owner Chloe broke the sad news right before Christmas last year that her dad had died, following a battle with cancer. Taking to Instagram to announce he'd passed away, the 26-year-old wrote: "I've struggled to write this and I still can't accept what I'm about to say! I'm a very open person and normally happy to share all details of my life, however this is a time where I really need to have some privacy.

"I sadly lost my dad after his battle with cancer and it still doesn't feel real! I am going to take a break from social media and work commitments."

At the time, Chloe shared a photo of her as a child with her dad and, taking to Instagram on Sunday, which as well as being Father's Day was her dad's birthday, she posted the same picture and wrote: "Happy birthday and happy fathers day to my dad I miss you every day I would do anything to see you again today I’m really struggling with you not been here.

"I can’t get my head around I will never see you again or have our funny chats we have. I love you so much you mean the world to me and always will."

Many of Chloe's celebrity pals were swift to offer their support, with her ex and Geordie Shore co-star Marty McKenna reacting with a heart emoji and, another cast member and close friend Bethan Kershaw, writing: "I love you," along with a trio of hearts.

Other Geordie Shore stars Abbie Holborn and Steph Snowdon, both tipped to feature in the upcoming reunion series, also posted heart emojis, while Chloe's boyfriend Johnny Wilbo, wrote: "He will be so proud of you my girl."
