Charlotte Crosby sparked excitement amongst Geordie Shore fans on Monday, when she broke news of a 'huge' week of filming as production continues on the MTV show's much hyped reunion series.
After quitting the programme in 2016, viewers would never have expected her to make a comeback but, last month it was confirmed that the Sunderland born reality star would play a pivotal role in the reunion, rumoured to be the series that will end Geordie Shore's 11 year run on screen. After her involvement was announced, newly pregnant Charlotte commented: “I always said I would be up for taking part in a reunion show and made no secret that Geordie Shore holds a special place in my heart. I’m very excited to reconnect and reminisce with my favourite people and life-long friends.”
Charlotte and fellow originals Sophie Kasaei and soon to be married Holly Hagan, join Marnie Simpson, who gave birth to her second son last week, at the centre of the show's reunion plans and, after Charlotte, Holly and Sophie recently flew abroad to film, with other cast members like Chloe Ferry, Nathan Henry and James Tindale, it sounds like there's more filming coming this week.

On Sunday evening, Charlotte posted a video of her in the back of a taxi to her Instagram, telling her millions of followers she'd enjoyed a 'very special little evening' with the Geordie Shore gang. And then on Monday, the 32-year-old returned to the social media platform to confirm she was back on set, with the caption: "This week's a huge week filming wise."
Charlotte's announcement comes as another Geordie Shore star, Louis Shaw, told fans he'd be quiet on Instagram for a few days as he went back into filming, James and another former cast member tipped to return for the reunion, Chantellle Connelly, both posted pictures during a break in filming abroad last week, with James captioning his: "Lights… Camera… Action...filming abroad always hits different."
