Geordie Shore star Aaron Chalmers says "it’s going to be a long road for my little solider" after his baby was back to hospital just two weeks after he was allowed to take him home.
The 35-year-old said his son Oakley needed an operation after he was born with health issues last month. Oakley will need to undergo a series of surgeries for the next 18-24 months, but Aaron said the first one had come around "unexpectedly".
The reality show star took to Instagram on Saturday to share a sweet snap of himself looking after the tot, who he shares with his girlfriend Talia Oatway. He elaborated on his son's condition and said he had been having trouble breathing, but is now doing well with the help of nasal tubes.

"It’s going to be a long road for my little solider but every op he has makes him that little bit better. We’ve got this my little sunshine mummy and daddy and your brothers and sisters can wait to get you home."
Aaron also shared an update with his social media followers in a video shared to his story, reports The Mirror. He thanked fans for their well wishes as he waited in the hospital.
"Hi everyone, I just want to say thank you. The messages we've had has been f***ing unbelievable, really unbelievable, just well-wishing. Just shows that social media can be a positive thing after all.
"I just thought I'd tell you about my day, so I'm at the hospital, the little man's having a sleep. He's had his cannula taken out he's still got all the tubes and air and stuff in his nose so he's in some pain bless him, but he's having a sleep and he's with his mummy."
Aaron added: "I just wanna say thank you to everyone who's sent a message, it means everything. It's been a tough few days for me and Talia and all the messages of support have picked us up in a time when we needed it.
"That's one operation down. The long road has begun a lot earlier than we expected but the first one's in." Oakley is now breathing by himself, with the assistance of some tubes.
