Aaron Chalmeers has revealed that his new son will require extensive surgery for the first two months of his life, admitting the baby faces 'a long road ahead.'
There was delight for Geordie Shore favourite Aaron, who was on the show at its peak, before pursuing a career in MMA and his other half Talia Oatway, when they welcomed little Oakley Bleu, their third child together, into the world at the end of last week. Aaron shared his birth with a photo of him cuddling Oakley on his Instagram, where he first touched on his son's health issues.
Aaron, who won his first processional boxing fight in June, wrote: "You come into this world earlier this week and from the minute you arrived you caused me and your mummy nothing but worry!! It’s going to be a long hard road for you and all of us as a family the next couple of years but your our little solider and we are going to be with you every step of the way."

Vowing to be with him every step of the way, Aaron signed off the post: "daddy’s got you son."
Aaron elaborated on Oakley's situation in a video he posted online. Speaking to his many followers, Aaron said: "In a video to fans, Aaron said: "We were in fetal medicine for most of the pregnancy, then we got cleared, unfortunately it wasn't cleared, and it wasn't picked up on the scans, so the little bubba is probably going to be in and out of surgery for the next 18 months to 24 months, so just me and Talia are coming to terms with everything."
Talia has also opened up on what's going on with Oakley, as she remains in hospital with him. Sharing a picture from hospital, she wrote: "The last few days have been so emotional and exhausting I just want to say thank you to everyone who has sent us love," before uploading another picture a few days later and captioning it: "A week old today, my oakley bleu. love you. And feels like day 028282927 in the hospital. Can’t wait to get you home."
