Greg Lake has made a very unexpected return to Geordie Shore, 11 years after leaving the show, much to the shock of his former castmates.
Back in the summer of 2011, Greg, along with co-stars like Charlotte Crosby, Gaz Beadle and Vicky Pattison, was propelled to almost overnight TV fame as the Newcastle based programme made its controversial debut on MTV, sparking uproar from a number of local politicians After just a short time in the original Geordie Shore house in Jesmond, it became apparent that Greg had little in common with the other lads, with them mocking him for the lack of time he spent in the gym and for not having a tan.
It was little surprise that Greg walked away from the show after just one series and while fellow originals like Sophie Kaseai,. James Tindale and Holly Hagan, have all gone back into the fold at various points during its 11 year run on screen, Greg has never returned, until now.

Last year, Greg, who has a son with Hollyoaks actress Jennifer Metcalfe, launched plush restaurant and bar Novo in Morpeth, which has been visited by his Geordie Shore pal Vicky, as well as footballers like Kieron Trippier and Chris Wood.
It was widely rumoured that filming for the Geordie Shore reunion had taken place earlier this with Charlotte Crosby announcing her pregnancy to her co-stars at the event. But while Charlotte always said she'd be well up for making a comeback for a reunion, no=-one was ever expecting Greg to return.
HIs entrance to the party at Newcastle's Boiler Shop, alongside partner Alicia Rudge, came to the complete surprise of fellow originals James and Jay Gardner, with James' jaw nearly hitting the floor as he reacts: "It's Snakers Lakers...I can't believe it!"
In his piece to camera, Greg admits: "I really didn't think as was going to come back, but curiosity got the better of me. After speaking to Alicia, I thought 'let's see what everyone's up to."
