Genshin Impact: The Best Yae Miko Build, Artifacts And Catalysts

Yae Miko miHoYo

At long last, the final major player in the Inazuma region, Yae Miko, has come to Genshin Impact in Update 2.5. That’s gone live now, as has the ability to pull for Yae Miko, a 5 star electro catalyst user, in order to try to add her to your team.

She pairs quite well with her electro girlfriend, Raiden Shogun, and in her storyline quest you’ll have to face her down in order to save her. But besides all that, you’re going to want to build her up to be as strong as she can be. So what are the best Yae Miko builds in Genshin Impact? Let’s go:

Best Yae Miko Artifacts

Thundering Fury miHoYo

Thundering Fury (Midsummer Courtyard Domain): 2 piece - Electro DMG Bonus +15% 4 piece -  Increases damage caused by Overloaded, Electro-Charged and Superconduct by 40%. Triggering such effects decreases Elemental Skill CD by 1s. Can only occur once every 0.8s.

Gladiator’s Finale (Bosses): 2 piece - ATK +18%. 4 piece - If the wielder of this artifact set uses a Sword, Claymore or Polearm, increases their Normal Attack DMG by 35%.

Emblem of Severed Fate (Momiji-Dyed Court Domain): 2 piece - Energy Recharge +20%. 4 piece  Increases Elemental Burst DMG by 25% of Energy Recharge. A maximum of 75% bonus DMG can be obtained in this way.

However, the best option may be to combine the first two pieces of Thundering Fury and the first two pieces of Gladiator’s Finale for a solid sub DPS option.

Best Yae Miko Catalysts

Kagura's Verity miHoYo

Kagura’s Verity (5 star) - Gains the Kagura Dance effect when using an Elemental Skill, causing the Elemental Skill DMG of the character wielding this weapon to increase by 12% for 16s. Max 3 stacks. This character will gain 12% All Elemental DMG Bonus when they possess 3 stacks.

Lost Prayer to the Sacred Winds (5 star) - Increases Movement SPD by 10%. When in battle, gain an 8% Elemental DMG Bonus every 4s. Max 4 stacks. Lasts until the character falls or leaves combat.

Blackcliff Agate (4 star) - After defeating an enemy, ATK is increased by 12% for 30s. This effect has a maximum of 3 stacks, and the duration of each stack is independent of the others.

The Widsmith (4 star) - When a character takes the field, the will gain a random theme song for 10s. This can only occur once every 30s. Recitative: ATK is increased by 60%. Aria: Increases all Elemental DMG by 48%. Interlude: Elemental Mastery is increased by 240.

Mappa Mare (4 star) - Triggering an Elemental reaction grants a 8% Elemental DMG Bonus for 10s. Max 2 stacks.

It should be no surprise to anyone that the best catalyst for Yae Miko is the one they build specifically for her, but if you don’t want to risk it all going for that weapon, there are a number of solid 4 star alternatives you probably have lying around, where the Widsmith is probably the best one given her kit.

With all this, you should be on your way to building a strong Yae Miko in combat. Enjoy.
