The popular action role-playing game Genshin Impact didn’t feature too prominently at The Game Awards 2022, but it did win the Players Voice Award after a fierce battle with Sonic Frontiers and contributed a trailer to the show. This trailer ended up revealing a character that fans of the game have been waiting on for two years: the Dendro character Yaoyao.
Genshin Impact 3.4: Yaoyao and Alhaitham are coming
The little girl with her cute stuffed bunny won the hearts of fans a long time ago when she was introduced during a quest all the way back in version 1.0, but she is still not playable at the moment. However, the introduction of the Dendro element in the course of patch 3.0 has finally cleared the way, and Yaoyao finally seems to make her way into the game in update 3.4.
Along with her, the brilliant strategist and Akademiya scribe Alhaitham comes into the game. He also uses the Dendro element and holds a prominent role in the main story surrounding Sumeru.
Update 3.4 with the banners of the two characters will be released in mid-January 2023. Currently, Wanderer, Faruzan, and Arataki Itto are available as part of game version 3.3.
