Genoa head coach Alexander Blessin has explained why he no longer speaks to Jurgen Klopp and insists Liverpool were 'lucky' to beat Inter Milan in the Champions League.
Blessin was speaking ahead of his side's Serie A fixture against Inter on Friday night and was asked about his compatriot.
“I have not talked to Klopp after Inter-Liverpool because I am very angry with him,” he joked in a press conference [via Football Italia ].
“When I played for Stuttgart Kickers, he was the manager of Mainz and didn’t want me in his squad. So I didn’t want to talk to him!”

The Reds beat Inter 2-0 in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final clash last week.
Goals from Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah gave Liverpool a crucial lead heading into the second leg at Anfield, which is set to take place on March 8.
Both goals came late in the second half and Blessin says the Merseyside club were 'lucky' to win the game.
He added: “I think Inter did really well, making life very difficult for Liverpool. The result does not reflect what happened during the match between the two teams.
“In fact, I am convinced that Liverpool were very lucky to win the game.”
Inter boss Simone Inzaghi also believes his side 'deserved more' from the defeat, as he told Amazon Prime Italia last week: "Unfortunately during our best period of the game we were not rewarded with the goal we deserved, then Liverpool scored at the first distraction we had.
“We certainly deserved more, but this performance has to augur well for what is to come in the future.
"Liverpool are one of the two best teams in Europe and in my view, Inter held out well and deserved more."
