Millions of voters across London went to the polls on July 4 to elect the new Government. The Standard looked at key battleground seats in the capital, and published an interactive map of the results. Here we turn the spotlight on:

WINNER: BARRY GARDINER

Bastôn De'Medici-Jaguar - Green Party (2,805 votes)

Barry Gardiner - Labour (17,258 votes)

Nadia Klok - Workers Party (2,774 votes)

Paul Lorber - Liberal Democrats (3,013 votes)

Sushil Rapatwar - Conservatives (13,465 votes)

Wards: Alperton; Barnhill; Kenton; Northwick Park; Preston; Sudbury; Tokyngton; Wembley Central; Wembley Hill; Wembley Park.

Boundary changes impact: The new constituency absorbed parts of two abolished ones: Brent North and Brent Central. Of its 10 wards, only Kenton voted Conservative in 2019 - and even that is tipped to join the Labour wave this time.
