Gemma Owen's mum entered the Love Island villa and warned her daughter over Luca Bish as parents got a chance to meet the contestants.
On Sunday's episode of the ITV2 dating show, Gemma's mum Louise told her daughter: "You've got on haven't you? You just need to see what you get on like in the outside world. Just see how it goes."
But she also described how she had picked Luca and Gemma to couple up together at the start of the series. Luca Bish's mum also gave her son a telling off, reports Birmingham Live.

She warned the fishmonger she would be having words with him when he returns home, telling him 'you did overstep the mark'. While she did not go into specifics, she said he had "sometimes over-reacted". When he tried to question her about what, she warned him "When you come home we'll have a chat about it. You did overstep the mark."
As the couple's parents were brought together, Luca's mum told Gemma she thought it was really nice that they were both close to their parents. She added that she loved the "values and morals" of the international dressage rider.
