Another of Gemma Owen's exes allegedly wants to join her in the Love Island villa.
The 19-year-old daughter of Michael Owen is currently in high demand as she is coupled up with fellow islander Luca Bish. Another ex-boyfriend, Jacques O'Neill, hoped to rock the villa after he entered as a bombshell earlier in the series - however Gemma was uninterested in igniting an old flame and remained loyal to Luca.
But now, another of Gemma's former flames, 27-year-old Neil Farrugia, would also like to give their relationship another go. Speaking to OK! Magazine, he insisted Luca is “just not Gemma’s type” and added he "would definitely try his best to turn Gemma’s head back".

Asked whether he would ever consider entering the villa as a bombshell, Neil said: "If I did, I would definitely try my best to turn Gemma’s head back in my direction – and I think I could make that happen. Our relationship ended on really good terms, so we still have positive vibes between us. I think I could make things interesting in the villa."
He claims they only called it quits after struggling with long distance. He explained: "I live in Malta and she lives in the UK." The entrepreneur added: "Gemma and I always had a lot of respect for one another and, though we celebrated many good times and good vibes together."
Neil described Gemma as having "drop dead stunning looks." He added: "Gemma has a super personality. She’s a cute character but also really mature and outgoing. There are so many goals in life she wants to achieve. Gemma ticks lots of boxes – we felt really comfortable together straightaway and just got on really well."
Despite Gemma currently claiming to be happy with fishmonger Luca, she revealed a bombshell of her own over the weekend. She said that if he were to ask her to be his girlfriend while on the ITV2 dating show she would say no. However, it wasn't due to Gemma wanting to look elsewhere - she put it down to getting her family's approval before giving anyone a "boyfriend" status.
Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub. Episodes are available the following morning on BritBox
