Gemma Owen reportedly signs six-figure-deal to be face of Boohoo fashion brand

Love Island 2022 runner-up Gemma Owen has reportedly signed a 'six-figure-deal' with fashion brand, Boohoo. The reality star, 19, was reportedly already in discussions for the deal before she entered the villa, with sources telling MailOnline that she has been "bombarded" with big-money offers from high street brands to stock her swimwear line.

The latest series of the popular ITV2 dating show concluded when Davide Sanclimenti and Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu were crowned the winners of the series. Gemma and her partner, Luca Bish, came in second place. Despite failing to win £50,000 on Love Island, Gemma reportedly needn't worry about financial gain in future.

The Sun reported that Gemma, the daughter of footballer Michael Owen, celebrated her business deal at private members club, 180 The Strand, in London on Friday, August 5. A source told the publication: “She had lots of brands keen to sign her.”

Prior to entering the villa, Gemma already owned swimwear fashion company, OG Beachwear, and whilst she was in the Majorcan villa, sources told MailOnline: "Win or lose, Gemma will make a fortune from Love Island through her fashion label. Since going on the programme, orders have skyrocketed.

And there's also been increasing interest from high street chains and online retailers who would like to discuss working with Gemma. She could make hundreds of thousands."

“I would love to carry on with my business which I have just set up. It’s called OG Beachwear,” Gemma told The Sun before going on Love Island.

"I will be wearing a few bits in the villa, it’s a small collection at the moment. I really like the Kardashians, I watch them on telly and I follow them on social media."

Gemma added: "Who wouldn’t like to be a billionaire like Kylie?”, referencing Kylie Jenner's swimwear business, Kylie Swim.
