Recently coupled up pair Gemma Owen and Luca Bish are set to hit a rocky patch in Love Island tonight (June 14). Things have been tough for the couple in the villa as once they finally coupled up together after Gemma's ex-boyfriend Jacques entered the villa as a bombshell.
However despite initial concerns Luca and Gemma seemed to have moved past the ex-boyfriend concerns as Jacques coupled up with Luca's ex-partner Paige, sending Afia home at the same time. Despite that, in tonight's episode Gemma slips up and calls Luca Jacques in the kitchen as the villa reacts to the first dumping of the series.
The pair are with the other islanders when they share a hug and Gemma has the slip of the tongue moment. Jacques is sitting right next to the pair when the awkward moment happens and the Islanders quickly pick up on it.

Amber quickly picks up on the blunder and as she laughs she asks: "Did you just call him something else?" Luca quickly reacts to the comment and says: "I know what she said."
Amber then asks if she did say Jacques to make sure she did not mishear. Amber's partner Dami quickly joins in the conversation and says: "Oh my god, there is no way that happened, there is no way that happened!"
Jacques' new partner Paige tries to comfort her friend Gemma as she says: "Easy mistake to make, hun." Luca quickly leaves the kitchen and as he leaves Gemma says to the other Islanders: "That was bad wasn’t it?"
Jacques' partner Paige responds and says: "That was bad, I am not gonna lie, he was standing there, you had your guy rubbing your shoulders, he’s stood there and you’re like… ‘Oh Jacques.’" As a result Gemma heads off to find Luca and pulls him for a chat to talk about the issue.
At the end of Monday's episode Love Island shared a teaser clip from tonight's episode which shows Luca rolling his eyes in a chat with Gemma much to her disapproval. Gemma apologises in the clip and says: "It was a genuine mistake I am sorry."
Elsewhere in the villa Tasha and Andrew head off to the hideaway for the first time in the series as they are chosen by their fellow islanders. The islanders also take part in another challenge called "Men-Chanics" as the boys perform sexy dances for the girls.
The drama doesn't end there as a reward for completing the challenge the islanders were given a "Shimmer and Shine" in partnership with Ebay. Two new male bombshells gate crash the party as Remi and Jay join the villa for the first time.
Love Island continues everyday at 9pm on ITV2 and the ITV Hub.
