Gemma Collins looks slimmer than ever after vowing to take time off to have a baby

Gemma Collins and her fiancé Rami Hawash had a date night after the TOWIE star announced she was taking time off to start a family.

The star, who has featured on the likes of TOWIE, Celebrity Big Brother and Dancing On Ice, has been open about her desire to have children in the past, previously stating on her podcast that she was considering IVF treatment.

The couple looked happy as they were snapped hand in hand on their first date night since they announced they were postponing getting married to try for a baby.

Gemma has revealed she went through a heartbreaking miscarriage while in lockdown in recent months and this is not the first time she has suffered a miscarriage.

The Celebrity Big Brother contestant appeared on Loose Women where she revealed she discovered she had PCOS, and this caused her to have pregnancy issues.

She spoke of the horrifying moment she showed her sister-in-law how much she was bleeding because she had thought it was a heavy period, but her breasts also felt heavier.

But when she rang her doctor he told her to go straight to hospital, She said: "It was really difficult for me in isolation, with my condition PCOS, it's not easy to fall pregnant, and I suffered a miscarriage which was really sad during the lockdown period."

Gemma and Rami, who owns a car mechanical repairs company in Essex, have even been engaged before, announcing their plan to get married on December 27 2013 - but this was broken off just weeks later.

The now couple grew close again in lockdown after Gemma split with James 'Arg' Argent, and shortly afterwards rekindled their romance.

In December 2021 Gemma and Rami announced they were once again engaged - eight years after the pair initially declared they were planning to tie the knot.

However, the marriage hasn't been easy to plan, as Rami is in the midst of finalising a divorce and he also has a young child to add to the mix.
