Gemma Collins has revealed how paramedics rushed to help her fiance Rami Hawash after he suddenly became seriously ill.

Ambulances were called after the businessman, 50, was taken ill.

A picture shared by TV star Gemma, 43, shows two paramedics treating Rami, with his body hooked up to a machine.

Collins shared a picture of the paramedics on Instagram (Gemma Collins/Instagram)

She wrote in the caption: “Thank you to the amazing ambulance service who came for Rami last night.

"Thankfully he will be OK."

In a previous post, Collins wished her followers a happy new year, writing: "Merry Christmas to ALL and a HAPPY NEW YEAR.

"I am on holidays now but wishing you all happiness JOY and lots of trifle!!!!

"Before the diet starts January he he. I will see you all at some point in JANUARY, love GC x."

Collins and Hawash got engaged earlier this year in the Maldives and recently revealed they are planning three separate weddings.

The TOWIE star said she wants to have a main ceremony in the UK, as well as a celebration abroad and a “formal” wedding for close family and friends.

An insider told OK Magazine: “Gemma is gearing up for her wedding day of dreams and it won't be short of extravagance, it will be typical GC style with no expense spared."

In October, Collins was rushed to hospital in Venice after she was stung by a wasp, which caused her tongue to swell up.

She was treated by doctors and later discharged.
