Gemma Collins 'at peace' with her body and declares 'I am gorgeous'

Gemma Collins has declared "I am gorgeous" as she spoke about accepting her body after struggling with her weight. The former The Only Way Is Essex star said she had "made peace" with it as she explained why she won't be shedding any more pounds.

The 41-year old, also known as The GC, has documented her incredible weight loss and fitness journey on social media for years, including posting about workouts and diets. It has seen her shed around three-and-a-half stone since appearing on Dancing On Ice in 2019.

The reality TV star recently opened up about "struggling" after indulging while on holiday late last year. But she has now stated she is happy with her appearance and won't try to lose more weight, as reported by The Mirror.

Gemma - who has also appeared on I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here, Celebrity Big Brother and Celebs Go Dating - admitted she has always been "real" about her weight struggles. Speaking to The Sun, she said: "I have made peace with my weight. This is me.

"I am never going to be a Victoria Secrets Model." She said that controlling your weight becomes "harder the older you get", adding: "But at the end of the day I think I am attractive. I think I am gorgeous."

Gemma lost more than two stone during her time on Dancing On Ice and since then has shed another stone through lifestyle changes. In November, she admitted she had "struggled" after enjoying a holiday with family and fiancé Rami Hawash.

On The Gemma Collins Podcast, she told listenters: "I'm going to get my walks in, I’ll be honest I’ve struggled since coming back off holiday. I’ve struggled dialling zero for a club sandwich. I've struggled having milkshakes.

"I've struggled not having all of that since I’ve been back and I’m just trying to get my walks in again, to keep that momentum flowing you know walking is so good for you."
