Gemma Atkinson is ready for the sunshine as she showed of her beautiful fresh look with fans. The Hits Radio host took to Instagram to show off her subtle change after hitting the hairdressing salon on Thursday (May 19).
She shared a smiling snap of herself as she jumped back in her car to head to work at the radio's shows Castlefield studio. Gemma, 37, was donning a pair of black denim dungarees and whacked on a pair of dark shades as the bright sun helped her freshly dyed locks dazzle for the photo.
"Back to blonde!" she wrote alongside the photo she shared with her millions of followers before adding: "'Pammy blonde' Thanks so much @emilyrosemonkhair always keeping my Barnet fresh."

And she was quickly flooded with compliments including from her Strictly Come Dancing star fiance Gorka Marquez who was quick to comment: "My gorgeous woman," alongside a string of hearts and love heart eye emojis.

@ fuzzymuzz1984 commented: "So pretty gem. Looks lovely." @ebarmby replied: "Looks absolutely gorgeous." @jonesemmas added: "Blondes have more fun. Just stunning."
But as she sat in the chair ready to get her locks taken care of, the Bury-born star revealed she had been 'fooled' by social media. Writing in a post posted onto her Instagram Story, Gemma said: "Sat in @emilyrosemonkhair chair discussing new hair style and colour. Showed her some pics of ppls hair I like and she's said 'that's a wig', 'those are extensions', 'that's a filter not her actual hair colour.'"
The mum-of-one added: "I was fooled by the gam! Told her to just do what she thinks [is] best for my hair." Following her appointment, Gemma video herself speaking to the camera in her car. "Had my hair done. How good is Em? How good is she?" the former Hollyoaks and Emmerdale star said.
"I said, 'just do what you want' If it's a wig, extensions and a filter I am looking at on Instagram, just do what you want with it.' And she did and I love it."
Gemma is no stranger to being honest on her social media account and back in March, she shared the reality behind what people see on Instagram as she took part in a photoshoot for Manchester fashion brand, In The Style.
After sharing a glimpse behind-the-scenes of her second leisure range with the brand, Gemma laid in bed, make-up free, after a busy day at work and told her followers: "I'm in bed after a long day but I just wanted to jump on quick because I've had loads of lovely DM's about the shoot today. Really, really complimentary DM's which is really lovely of you so thank you...
"But I just wanted to show you this," she added gesturing to her fresh face. "Because today we had an amazing make-up artist, we had ring lights everywhere, good lighting, a great photographer, stylists... that's why the photos look so good.
"Not because I look like that in real life because no one does because it's Instagram." Writing over the videos, Gemma shared: "Just a reminder that the gram isn't always real life... I had such a great team from glam to lighting to a photographer who knows great angles. So yeah, Thank you all so much but remember no one looks that 'glam' in real life."
