Gemma Atkinson shares last message to fiancé Gorka Marquez and Helen Skelton as she reveals where she'll keep BBC Strictly Glitterball

Gemma Atkinson has shared her last message to her 'incredible' fiance Gorka Marquez and his dance partner Helen Skelton as they take part in the Strictly Come Dancing final.

Gorka and Helen will take to the ballroom floor for the final time tonight (December 17) in a bid to lift the Glitterball trophy. The pair will dance three times in a bid to impress viewers as the judges' scores will only be a guide meaning the final results of the BBC One dance contest is all fans' hands.

Gorka, 32, and Helen, 39, will perform three different routines with one being at the request of the judges, the second their favourite from the series and the third is their showdance which shows off how far they've come in 13 weeks. And dancing against them in a bid to be crowned Strictly 2022 champions and take home the coveted Glitterball will be Hamza Yassin and Jowita Przystal, Fleur East and Vito Coppola and Molly Rainford and Carlos Gu.

Among those supporting Gorka and Helen for the win is, of course, Gorka's fiancee Gemma and their three-year-old daughter, Mia. Taking to Instagram on Saturday (December 17) ahead of the final, Hits Radio host Gemma shared a video of Mia.

Gorka had already shared the video with his thousands of followers as it sees his little girl at the family of three's Greater Manchester home, offering her luck for the final. "I hope you win it tonight, Papa!" she says before she then sweetly adds: "Love you," while waving at the camera and saying: "Bye," as she walks away from in front of the Christmas tree.

Gemma also shared a picture of Gorka and Helen during their last day of training earlier this week and wrote a supportive message to them both. " Tonight’s the night," the 38-year-old began her post with a string of fingers crossed emojis.

She went on to type: "Thrilled to be sat watching the show live this evening and cheering stupidly loud for Gorks & Helen! I'm beyond proud of what they have achieved. To use the cringe word 'journey' is an understatement!

"The transformation in Helen’s dancing is outstanding and it’s because she now believes in herself, knows her worth and now just goes for it! Gorka being the most incredible teacher and mentor and all of the kind wonderful msgs of support from people has all helped get her there. Kind words go along way in building someone up.

"Thank you for all your votes! It means so much. Time away from families and hours of dancing between work and home life have all paid off because they’ve made the final! The final push for that glitter ball is what we need! I’ve cleared a space especially in the loo for it.

"Hope you enjoy tonight’s show and if you’re voting with us THANK YOU! Let’s goooooo!!!" And Gemma's supportive post was soon being flooded with comments from those supporting Helen and Gorka in the competition.

@marinhagoncalvesdias said: "Amazing partnership - Gorka has done an incredible job with Helen this year - They have my votes ! Good luck Helen & Gorka." @xxkathymacxx commented: "Gorka deserves recognition for being a great Pro, he has been great for Helen, ideal partner. I will be voting!"

After they got through the semi-final last week, Gemma took to Instagram to share a supportive post. Sharing a smiling photo of Helen and Gorka with her millions of followers, the mum-of-one wrote: "Also THANK YOU! For voting these two. I'm so pleased!!! It's so deserved.

"The work behind the scenes from them both mentally as well as physically has blown me away. Super proud! And I cannot wait to watch you both (hopefully) lift that glitterball next sat."
