Gemma Atkinson shares honest message to fans as she shares glam look on latest fashion shoot
Gemma Atkinson has shared an honest message to her fans about the reality behind what people see on Instagram.
The former Emmerdale star is no stranger to sharing a frank look at her life as a mum to daughter Mia and fiance to her Strictly Come Dancing beau Gorka Marquez as well as working as a radio presenter, actress, and more.
On Tuesday, Gemma was filling up her Instagram Story with a look at her latest project with Manchester fashion brand, In The Style.

The 37-year-old, from Bury, teamed up with In The Style for a leisurewear range back in January and earlier this week she announced the exciting news that some of the most popular items will be coming back into stock AND that they were adding to the collection.
Gemma shared the process of getting ready for the latest photoshoot with her millions of followers, including getting the top of her lip waxed.
"We've all got to do it, I'm not going to hide it," she said into her camera with her short blonde locks all pinned up ready for her transformation.
The Hits Radio host then continued to give her fans a sneak peek at her new collection featuring brand new colours in shoppers' favourite designs from the first leisurewear drop.
Gemma looked stunning in a black and blue cropped top set which showed off her gym-honed figure before covering up in a loose fitting top after it was requested by In The Style's customers.
Following the shoot, it was back to reality for Gemma as she hit the supermarket, commenting: "I feel very glam to be doing the big shop."
She then said as she filmed herself walking down the aisle in Sainsbury's before she had to head off to do her Hits Radio show with Mike Toolan: "I feel a bit too done up to be in here."
"I'm not used to this much make-up day-to-day," she then laughed before spotting something she fancied on the shelves and cutting short her video.
But later Gemma, who is set to return to her role as Lisa Hunter in Hollyoaks very soon, returned to her social media page to share a message with fans as she laid in bed, make-up free, after a busy day at work.
"I'm in bed after a long day but I just wanted to jump on quick because I've had loads of lovely DM's about the shoot today. Really, really complimentary DM's which is really lovely of you so thank you...
"But I just wanted to show you this," she added gesturing to her fresh face. "Because today we had an amazing make-up artist, we had ring lights everywhere, good lighting, a great photographer, stylists... that's why the photos look so good.
"Not because I look like that in real life because no one does because it's Instagram."
Writing over the videos, Gemma shared: "Just a reminder that the gram isn't always real life... I had such a great team from glam to lighting to a photographer who knows great angles.
"So yeah, Thank you all so much but remember no one looks that 'glam' in real life."
It comes just a couple of weeks after Gemma made a plea to her followers when it comes to stepping on the scales.
The fitness fanatic is no stranger to regularly sharing her workouts on Instagram - good or bad - and the presenter said she had weighed herself after getting 'back on it' with her food and training after feeling sluggish from relaxing her usual regime between her birthday in November until the end of December.
However, she found that she was heavier than she was just a few days before Christmas and Gemma, who has penned her second book The Ultimate Body Plan for New Mums 12 Weeks to Finding You Again, quickly urged fans not to let the number on the scales define them.
