Gemma Atkinson fumes at Strictly star fiancé Gorka Marquez before jetting off on post-Christmas getaway

Gemma Atkinson seemed unimpressed with her fiance Gorka Marquez after they enjoyed a family Christmas. The couple were reunited just before the festivities after Gorka finished his latest Strictly Come Dancing stint.

Spanish dancer Gorka made it all the way to the final of the BBC One dance contest, alongside celebrity partner Helen Skelton. The pair lost out on the Glitterball trophy to Hamza Yassin and Jowita Przystal.

Despite there being some apparent disappointment from Gorka following his third final in his six years, Gemma was quick to clap back at reports he was set to quit.

The couple, who met on Strictly when Gemma was a contestant back in 2017, enjoy this Christmas with their three-year-old daughter, Mia. On Christmas Day, Gorka took to Instagram to share images of his little girl opening her presents.

"Santa’s been!!," he wrote, alongside black and white photos of Mia getting stuck into her gifts. He then shared a follow-up post of himself, Gemma and Mia posing with her new toys in front of the Christmas tree.

"FELIZ NAVIDAD!!!," the dad-of-one penned. "Wishing you all a wonderful time with your love ones. Love from us."

He appeared to face Gemma's wrath on Boxing Day when he tucked into the last of her shortbread biscuits.

The Hits Radio host shared a video of herself tucking into the Scottish treats, dunking them in her brew. "2nd tin deep," she confessed.

"I never have control over shortbread," she added with a crying laughing emoji.

Less than an hour later, Gemma, 37, shared a video of her man sitting next to her on the sofa, stuffing his face. "Mutha f**ka," she captioned the video. All appeared to be forgiven by Tuesday (December 27), however, as the family shared a video of themselves jumping in their luxury cab and heading off to the airport.

Former Emmerdale and Hollyoaks star Gemma has since shared a video of Mia getting stuck into more presents, appearing to show them at Gorka's family's home in Spain. "Papa Noel has been to Abuela's," she typed with 'Abuela' meaning Grandmother in Spanish.
