Gemma Atkinson said "adios" to Gorka's family in Spain as they headed home after reuniting with them for the first time in two and a half years.
The Strictly pro, 31, comes from the Bilbao region of the country and took his fiancée, 37, and their daughter Mia, three, back to see his parents.
Like the rest of the world, travel to Spain was compromised by Covid, but thankfully the family were reunited last week.
Sharing an adorable picture of her mini-me daughter and Gorka holding a toy cat, Gemma said: "Cat the bear came most places in Bilbao with us, Gorka got lumbered with him most of the time… by the last day though he’d clearly grown on him.
"Back to reality now and back home. We had the best few days with Gorks family. Lots of tears were shed in the airport saying Adios. Im glad Mia had some quality time with them & we’ll see them again at Christmas." (sic).
The actress also shared a make-up free snap of herself in which she looked radiant as they prepared to fly home.
The super sweet post went down a storm with fans with many of Gemma's followers commenting how much little Mia looked like her mum.
One gushed: "Beautiful picture your daughter is really a mini you such a gorgeous little girl."
The family later arrived back in Manchester Airport as Gemma shared a vid of the trio before they were picked up in style by a transfer service.
The week in Spain with Mia's grandparents was an emotional reunion.
Last week, Gemma shared a snap of her, Gorka and their daughter walking down to the beach.
Captioning the pic, she wrote: "After 2 and a half years, we made it back to Spain.
"Happy tears were shed and the first stop was the beach with Abuelo & Abuela."
Abuelo and abuela is Spanish for grandpa and grandma.
The ex-Hollyoaks actress and Strictly Come Dancing professional got engaged last year, but admitted they need to postpone their wedding due to their hectic work schedules.
Gemma has bagged herself a gig as a Hits FM radio presenter while Gorka has two Strictly tours as well as the main show in September.
The good news is the couple may be adding to their family, ahead of walking down the aisle.
Speaking to former Geordie Shore star Vicky Pattison’s The Secret To podcast, the mum-of-one revealed: "We’ve said we would prefer to try for another baby rather than have a big, fancy wedding."
