Gemma Atkinson has shared with her loyal fans why she doesn't want to be induced as she patiently awaits the arrival of her second child. Fans have been eagerly waiting for news from the Hits Radio host and her Strictly Come Dancing star fiance Gorka Marquez after revealing her son is due any day now.
The couple, who met on Strictly back in 2017 when Gemma was a contestant on the BBC One show, announced back in January that they were expanding their brood after welcoming their daughter, Mia, in July 2019. In a later update in April, Gemma told fans that she had been told her 'little man' could arrive at "any time from the back few weeks in June to the front few weeks in July" after sharing why she hadn't asked for a specific 'due date'.
And it appears fans want to help her speed up the process as she has been flooded with suggestions on how to try and induce labour. Earlier on Sunday (July 9), Gorka shared videos of the family-of-three out with their pet dogs. "Started the day with a long walk hoping to encourage little fella out," Gemma confessed as she reshared the video to her own Instagram Story.

The 38-year-old then followed up the post with a written message after seemingly being sent messages from her followers. "Loads of msgs of tips to try and speed up little man's arrival. Thank you," Gemma wrote alongside a red heart.
"I'm happy to try the natural stuff as and when I get too uncomfortable (I've been on the ball and walked a lot). However, I'm trying to avoid being induced if possible. I believe the choice is very much down to watch mum and we have to be guided by the professionals 100% but for me last time, I had two sweeps and the artificial hormone.
"I said yes to everything offered as I was s****ing myself with it being my first baby." She went on tow write: "This time, having done lots more of my own research and speaking to lots of proffesionals and under the guidance of Rachel my private midwife I've decided to hold off (if possible).
"Of course if the safety of me or little mean are at risk it's a different matter and I'll do whatever it takes. Without the staff at Bolton Hospital, me or Mia wouldn't be here. They were/are incredible!"
She rounded off her post by adding: "For now, I'm happy to take the feeling of being not so comfortable to let him try and come when he's ready. Could be a different story next week mind you. I guess that's the joy for pregnancy," alongside a string of crying laughing emojis."
It comes after Gemma addressed some of the comments from her 1.2 million followers in response to a video she shared of her stretching away in the family's home gym. Sharing a video of Gorka laying on the sofa while appearing to be crunching some crisps, she wrote: "Lots saying the best way to get him out is the same way he got in...
"I mean he's clearly looking attractive but I don't even think he will be able to see my [flower emoji] at this point [laughing face and face palm emoji]."
She then shared a follow-up video in which she appeared to ponder the thought. "I mean, if push comes to shove, pardon the pun, then yeah, I'll take one for the team," Gemma said to the camera referring to herself and her unborn son. "But as it currently stands, I couldn't think of anything worse.
"Oh my god, I can't event see it. I don't even know how I'd do it. Sorry Gorks," she added before typing alongside the video: "Would love to be that sexy up for it mama to be, but truth be told I couldn't think of owt worse than a quick pipe now."
