Gemma Atkinson has told fans she's been 'hit hard' by Netflix's chilling series about serial killer and cannibal Jeffrey Dahmer.
Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story follows the murders of the notorious killer, who took the lives of 17 boys and men from the late 70s to the early 90s.
Viewers have been gripped by the dark drama and now Gemma has given her verdict.
Taking to Instagram, she wrote: "What the hell? I'm on episode 6, thoughts?
"And those police! Having SO many opportunities to catch him.
"How awful it must have been/still be for the victims of those families to go through and now relive it all."
Some Netflix viewers were so horrified by the series that they were unable to make it through the first chilling episode.
One fan wrote: "The story of Jeffrey Dahmer is absolutely insane, got me sick to my stomach.
While another tweeted: "Watching this series on Netflix. Dahmer acting is outstanding but I absolutely appreciate the victim's stories this dude was beyond sick."
The true crime offering, which stars Evan Peters in the titular role, was put together by Ryan Murphy, who created the super successful American Horror Story.
Ryan didn't shy away from some of Dahmer's most disturbing acts, including the Milwaukee Cannibal feeding a woman a sandwich filled with human flesh.
There are also scenes in which he lures victims, knocking them unconscious, before committing heinous acts.
As well as following the sick story of the serial killer, the drama also gives a voice to characters that were dragged into Dahmer's wretched world.
Netflix launched the 10-episode series to show the victims' and family's stories and why it took so long to bring justice.
Its synopsis reads: "Across more than a decade, 17 teen boys and young men were murdered by convicted killer Jeffrey Dahmer. How did he evade arrest for so long?"
Dahmer was eventually given 15 life sentences, which were later extended to 16.
He was murdered in prison by inmate Christopher Carver in 1994.
