Microsoft unveiled its latest Small Language Models (SLMs) as part of the company’s Phi family. It includes Phi-4-Multimodal and Phi-4-Mini models, which focus on enhancing AI capabilities without compromising efficiency and scalability. Here, the Phi-4-Multimodal is built on 5.6 billion parameters, and the Phi-4-Mini is built on 3.8 billion parameters.

Google and Salesforce have expanded their partnership to offer businesses more flexibility in building AI-powered solutions. The new partnership allows Salesforce customers to use Google’s Gemini AI models within Agentforce, which is Salesforce’s AI agent platform, unlike the current situation where Salesforce customers are locked in with a single provider or model. The new partnership with Google will allow customers to use Gemini models to build agents.
Cisco and NVIDIA Unveil High-Performance AI Networking Solutions
Cisco has also made a new partnership with NVIDIA, which aims to provide more AI-focused solutions to enterprises. The collaboration aims to simplify the deployment of AI technologies by integrating Cisco’s networking expertise with NVIDIA’s AI advancements, particularly through the NVIDIA Spectrum-X Ethernet networking platform.
