It's a major rite of passage in the life of British young people.
That's right, it's almost time for GCSE Results Day 2019, where the pupils reaching the end of their life at secondary school or adults looking to gain a new qualification finally learn how they did on their big exams.
The major exam boards, including AQA and OCR, will all release the results at the same time.
The day comes hot on the heels of the A-level Results Day 2019 last week, but what date does the GCSE Results Day fall on?
Additionally, at what time can students expect to get their results and how do they get them?
Here is what you need to know about GCSE Results Day 2019.
GCSE Results 2019: What date and time are the results released?
The GCSE Results 2019 are released at around 10am on Thursday, August 22, 2019.
Generally, students will need to collect the results in person from their school or nominate someone to collect them for them ahead of time.
Alternatively, some schools allow them to be posted or emailed on request.
This will be the second year of using numerical grades as the GCSE grade boundary system was previously overhauled.
