Gaz Beadle has revealed that his wife Emma McVey is back in hospital, after posting a concerning Instagram update about a 'stressful' day for his family.
Gaz and Emma, who have children Chester and Primrose together, tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in 2021 and Emma has been very open about her various health battles over the last few years, with her being told she had three holes in her heart just weeks before her wedding and then being diagnosed with colitis in October 2021.
The couple's daughter Primrose also spent a lot of time in hospital in the early stages of her life, so fans were worried when Gaz took to Instagram on Tuesday night to post: "very hard, very stressful, very emotional day....crazy what life throws at you sometimes...big day for our family tomorrow," ending his post with a praying emoji.
Gaz, an original cast member on Geordie Shore back in 2011, then gave an insight into what had happened when he returned to Instagram on Wednesday morning, to post a photo of him with Chester and Primrose in the car, writing: "So proud of these two...Primrose doesn't quite understand but Chester has been very brave. Hectic morning but all in hand."
In a separate post, Gaz then heaped praise on Emma, writing: "Emma was literally waiting to go in at 7am this morning, after we dropped her last night and her only was that the kids were OK and they had found their treasure hunt surprises that she planned every day for them."
He added: "mums are built different, nothing else matters as long as their kids are OK," before telling his millions of followers he would give an update as soon as he'd heard from doctors that all had gone well with Emma.
Gaz, signed off by writing: "Going to be a hard 2/3 month with recovery but we got this as a family."
