At least two passengers were reportedly attacked by a suspected knifeman at a train station following reports of a police shooting in Germany.
One person shared online they were told there was a "stabbing followed by a police shooting" at Gateway Gardens station near Frankfurt Airport.
Frankfurt Police confirmed they shot an attacker and said he has been injured, according to local reports.
Police say the man had previously attacked two people with a knife on an S-Bahn.
They did not confirm the extent of the man's injuries. They added that at least one shot had been fired.

The station's arrival and departure boards show trains have been cancelled for at least the next hour.
