Gary Neville has been brutally mocked by fellow pundit Micah Richards after the Manchester United favourite was blanked by former teammate Cristiano Ronaldo.
Ronaldo remains at Old Trafford after returning to the club in a sensational transfer last summer. However, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner wanted to leave this season and drew public criticism from Neville for refusing to come off the United bench during their statement win over Tottenham earlier in the month.
As a result, Ronaldo was omitted from the matchday squad against Chelsea. He has since returned to the team and started against West Ham at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.

Before that meeting, the one-time Real Madrid and Juventus superstar made his way over to the Sky Sports panel, but there was no warm welcome for a man that he shared so many successes with. Quite the oppositive, in fact, as Neville was given the silence treatment before Ronaldo embraced Louis Saha and Jamie Redknapp.
Here is what was said during the social media video as Richards (MR) tracked down United heroes Neville (GN) and Roy Keane (RK) backstage following the non-exchange in front of the Sky Sports cameras on Sunday afternoon. You can also watch the clip below as Richards takes aim at his colleagues.
MR: How does it feel to be blanked by your mate?
GN: [To Keane] He said how does it feel to be blanked. I'm expecting you [Keane] to...
RK: You're delighted he's blanking you, because that means you're...
GN: It just tells us something, though, he's watching. It means he's watched. I think if I had 570million followers on Instagram, then I wouldn't be arsed about Gary Neville.
MR: He was an ex-teammate, though. Come on.
GN: Yeah, I know, but he doesn't behave like someone who's played with me, or him [Keane] for that matter.
MR: Honestly, he [Keane] won't say a bad word about Ronaldo. Honestly.
