Manchester United legend Gary Neville has now admitted that Arsenal are favourites to win this season's Premier League title.
Mikel Arteta's side currently sit on top of the pile, eight points above Manchester City in second, although the reigning champions do have a game in hand on their title rivals. "I actually think they've just turned favourites in the last week or so. I think honestly, that night when you went out of Europe on penalties, I think that was a big, big moment that, because it clears up the whole of the rest of the season.
"City have obviously got Bayern Munich and then Real Madrid if they get through in the Champions League. They've got the FA Cup. They've got so much more.
"I mean, Arsenal have got that period where they play I think it's Liverpool away, West Ham away, Newcastle away, (Manchester) City away and then I think its Chelsea at home. That's a tough five games that, you look at those games. So there's still a long way to go but I think the fact (that) you've cleared that sort of path to the end of the season, I do think now Arsenal are slight favourites."
