Pundits Gary Neville and Rio Ferdinand have praised Luis Diaz's work rate and attitude against Crystal Palace on Monday night.
The Reds welcomed Patrick Vieira's side to Anfield and hoped to secure their first league win of the campaign. However, against the run of play, it was the visitors who took the lead in the first-half.
Matters were made worse after the break as new signing Darwin Nunez was sent off for an attempted head-butt on Joachim Andersen. Diaz then rounded-off a spirited display with an incredible goal to put 10-man Liverpool back on level terms.

Jurgen Klopp 's side were unable to go that one step further and secure all three points and they picked up their second draw from their opening two games. Despite another disappointing result, Diaz was undoubtedly the stand-out performer and a key positive that didn't go unnoticed by the pundits.
Ferdinand tweeted during the game: "What a player Diaz is… attitude, desire, personality bang on!"
His fellow former Manchester United teammate echoed a similar sentiment in the post-match analysis on Sky Sports. “His tracking back, his pressing. His energy in the game, his dispossessing of the opposition teams is absolutely unbelievable," Neville said.
Monday night's effort was Diaz's first goal of the season, but the seventh of his Liverpool career after he joined the club from Porto in January. As a result of Nunez's suspension for the next three games, the Colombia international will need to step up even more with some big games looming against Manchester United, Bournemouth and Newcastle.
