Manchester United legends Gary Neville and Paul Scholes have already given their verdict on the possible arrival of Christian Eriksen at Old Trafford this summer.
MEN Sport revealed on Wednesday that United and the Dane's old club Tottenham are interested in signing Eriksen as his short-term contract at Brentford is set to come to an end. The 30-year-old made his return to the Premier League in January after suffering a cardiac arrest at Euro 2020 last summer.
Eriksen impressed many with his performances for the London club and this has led to both Erik ten Hag and Antonio Conte weighing up a move for the midfielder. This is not the first time the Denmark international has been linked with a move to Old Trafford.

Back in 2019 when his time at Spurs was coming to an end, United were linked as a possible destination for Eriksen. Despite the move failing to materialise, both Neville and Scholes admitted they would have been keen to see him join the ranks at the Theatre of Dreams.
Neville said: "They'll [ United ] take him tomorrow. I think he'd improve Man United.
"What you see with Eriksen is he can look disinterested, but when he moves to a bigger club he can switch it on again. Will Man United take him, will PSG take him, will Real Madrid take him, on a free - yes."
Scholes, meanwhile, claimed that he was intrigued by the prospect of Eriksen arriving in Manchester. He told the BBC in the same year: "I was quite excited when Christian Eriksen got mentioned.
"He could have made a big difference to United in the way [Kevin] De Bruyne plays for [Manchester] City, creating chances and scoring goals." Ten Hag has made sorting United's midfield out his priority this summer, with Frenkie de Jong top of his wish list.
