Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher have steered Chelsea towards two areas of the pitch that Thomas Tuchel must bolster in the summer transfer window. Their suggestions follow the decision made by Todd Boehly's consortium to 'push for A-list signings' to mark a new era at Stamford Bridge, according to the MailOnline.
With the new ownership group eager to bolster the Blues' armoury, The Telegraph indicate that, after player sales are taken into account, Tuchel is set to have £200million at his disposal to strengthen his side. With an exodus of players on the horizon, the German has outlined the need for a rebuild.
Speaking to football.london, the Blues boss said: "We are rebuilding, not improving the squad. We are rebuilding. This is always challenging, but we are up for the challenge.

"I don't know where we are from day one. What I can promise is that I will be here – if I can promise that – I will be here with full energy and positive energy no matter what. We will still work for Chelsea, and I refuse to think of negative scenarios. We will be competitive, on which level we will see."
Chelsea have already been linked with a wealth of players, including Ousmane Dembele, Christopher Nkunku and Jules Kounde. However, Neville and Carragher have outlined the need for cover at wing-back - on either flank - and a new striker to replace Romelu Lukaku, unless the Belgium international can reignite the sparkling form he once enjoyed at Inter Milan.
Speaking on The Overlap, the former Manchester United defender highlighted the importance of Ben Chilwell and Reece James in Tuchel's side - a side which began to crumble when both defenders picked up injuries. Neville said: "I think Chelsea have had a really good season considering.
"I did the Carabao Cup final and they should have won that game it’s ridiculous. They had chances in the FA Cup final. I think the injuries to James and to Chilwell are big - they could have been in such a different position."
Carragher threw his hat in the ring and detailed the impact of Lukaku's misfortunes this campaign. The former Liverpool defender said: "What this season’s showed with Lukaku, for me, is that he’s just a level below the real forwards, I think he’s just below.
"I never thought he was [Robert] Lewandowski, [Harry] Kane, [Kylian] Mbappe, [Erling] Haaland. When he was at United and Everton there was questions about his hold-up play and I think what I’ve seen this season has confirmed he’s [not] quite as good as people have said he is."
With the transfer window fast-approaching, would a world-class striker and two strong understudies to Chilwell and James been enough for Chelsea to clinch the FA Cup and Carabao Cup this season?
