Gary Neville wasted no time poking fun at Liverpool after their surprise 1-0 defeat to Bournemouth on Saturday lunchtime.
And with routine BBC matchday coverage descending into chaos following the controversy around the removal of Match of the Day presenter Gary Lineker, Sky Sports pundit Neville was only too keen to pop a direct jibe on social media.
The former Manchester United defender has endured a rough week after the Red Devils were humiliated 7-0 at Anfield last Sunday, but Jurgen Klopp's team looked a shadow of themselves against, what was at the start of the day, the Premier League's bottom club.

With no regular BBC afternoon coverage running, following a show of support for Lineker from his media colleagues, Neville took the topical opportunity to exact some revenge for United's hammering at Anfield.
He Tweeted: "With no-one on final score today I thought I would bring you the early kick off result Bournemouth 1-0 Liverpool … and they’re playing so well."
BBC Radio Five LIVE was forced to run pre-recorded content as its reporters stepped away from their roles, just as Match of the Day pundits Ian Wright and Alan Shearer had following Lineker's removal on Friday.
The Match of the Day host was forced to stand back from his presenting roll after posting a tweet that criticised the government's new immigration policy.
The row has since deepened, forcing the BBC to limit its sport content output over the weekend. A statement from the corporation said: “We are sorry for these changes which we recognise will be disappointing for BBC sport fans. We are working hard to resolve the situation and hope to do so soon.”
