Former Hollyoaks star Gary Lucy has shared an emotional message as he looks back on his time on the Channel 4 soap.
Gary played popular villager Luke Morgan in the show for almost 20 years, in a number of different stints over the years. He's had a long career that has spanned across channels and programmes that has seen him play a policeman in the ITV drama The Bill as well as roles in Eastenders, Grange Hill and more.
The star's Hollyoaks character Luke was killed off earlier this year, with fans devastated to see him go. The character fell from a cliff into the ocean during his stag do in Majorca, after a lengthy storyline saw Luke develop dementia, experience changing behaviour and finally decide to tie the knot with girlfriend Cindy, played by Stephanie Waring.
