Gary Lineker has praised Liverpool fans as they sung You'll Never Walk Alone prior to their kick-off with West Ham in dedication to Ukraine amid ongoing the Russian invasion.
Russia began its invasion of Ukraine last week and the situation is continuing to develop at a rapid rate, with thousands losing their lives and cities being taken over.
The country's health minister claiming that over 2000 people have so far died since Vladimir Putin's decision to start war.
Russia's actions have already resulted in a massive international backlash and punishment of varying forms, including sporting restrictions - with Russian clubs also being punished. Saint Petersburg have been stripped as the host city of the 2022 Champions League final, which will now be played in Paris.

And Liverpool fans once again have shown their support for Ukraine, singing their famous pre-game song during a moments applause for everyone in the country.
Watching at home, Lineker responded: "Half way through the minute’s applause for Ukraine, Liverpool fans start singing “You’ll Never Walk Alone”. Very moving."
Anfield was turned yellow and blue last week - the colours of Ukraine's flag in a show of support.
Liverpool skipper Jordan Henderson also sent a heartfelt message to Andriy Yarmalenko ahead of Liverpool taking on West Ham at Anfield.
Yarmolenko’s home city of Chernihiv has been subjected to air strikes, following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine last Thursday.
The West Ham forward has been vocal in his opposition to the war on social media and recently implored Russia’s national team players to do the same.
