Former Everton striker Gary Lineker believes his old team were victims of a "very poor decision" from referee Stuart Attwell in Sunday's Merseyside derby.
Liverpool got the better of their rivals by a 2-0 scoreline after second-half goals from Andy Robertson and Divock Origi, although Frank Lampard's team turned in a dogged performance throughout.
Everton had a number of chances on the counter-attack, with Anthony Gordon frequently leading the charge down the left flank.

The Scouse winger appeared to have made a decisive contribution at the start of the second half, too, when the score was 0-0. He burst into the box and was nudged in the back by Joel Matip, who then trod on the Everton winger's foot.
After the game, Lineker offered his assessment on the decision, suggesting the Blues were unlucky not to get a penalty.
"Everton, although outplayed, should definitely have had a penalty," he said on Twitter. "Really poor decision."
Gordon himself offered a damning opinion of the incident on Sky Sports after the game.
"The second one for me was the strongest," he added. "Because he stood on my foot. I've gone one v one with him and I've got the better of him and he's stood on my foot, which has caused me severe pain and I've gone down."
