A Dublin TD has been praised for his reaction after he laughed off being heckled by a child outside the Dail.
Social Democrats politician Gary Gannon posted a video of the interaction on his Twitter page yesterday.
In the clip, he is seen walking towards a group of journalists when a primary school student off-camera is heard shouting: "Ginger!"

As Gannon approaches the media he says in shock: "He just called me ginger," causing the crowd to burst out laughing.
He later uploaded the video to his Twitter page, joking: "Today I was viciously attacked outside the Dáil by a primary school student."
People rushed to the comments to praise the TD for his "sense of humour" while others joked along.
One person responded, writing along with the crying laughing emoji: "Blatant disregard for our TDs. I hope you can recover from this horrific incident Gary".
Another said: "Your reaction was outstanding."
A third added: "At least you have a sense of humour."
While a fourth wrote: "You're a sound lad, Gary. Nice to see people who can have a laugh at their own expense. We've all got a bit too serious this weather. Nice to share something on this that lightens the mood!"
