Garth Brooks and wife Trisha spotted visiting popular tourist area during Croke Park concert break

Garth Brooks and his wife Trisha Yearwood have been spotted in Co Wicklow during the country music legend’s break from his five-night Croke Park run.

The famous couple were pictured enjoying a stroll through Glendalough, following Garth’s widely praised comeback shows in the Dublin venue over the weekend.

And locals were delighted by the celebrities’ arrival, with Visit Wicklow saying: “Great to see Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood taking some time out to visit Glendalough while in Ireland.

“Welcome to Wicklow.”

The talented pair took in the sights and scenery whilst the If Tomorrow Never Comes hitmaker is enjoying a few days off before he prepares to head back on stage for another weekend of concerts on Friday.

Singer Trisha has also been performing at the sold-out gigs, joining Garth for a performance of Lady Gaga's 'A Star Is Born' hit ballad, Shallow.

The trip comes after the pair were spotted out and about in Dublin performing an impromptu singalong with fans at Portland Place.

A massive crowd formed around the singer and started singing his hit 'The Dance' as he posed for pictures.

Local TD Gary Gannon's mother was one of the locals lucky enough to meet her hero and he shared footage of the surreal moment on Twitter.

He wrote: "Cynical as you can be about the whole thing, Garth Brooks is currently having a sing song with me Ma and all the women of Portland Place in the playground and it is absolutely lovely."

The Friends in Low Places singer previously said that he and his wife would be using the downtime of his tour dates in Ireland as a “second honeymoon”.

The singer, 60, who is also filming the comeback concerts, said: “Well Miss Yearwood, we are going to try to use it as a second honeymoon, so we are just going to run around the place.

"But we are also filming this, so the cameras are coming with us.”
